Tuesday became our shopping day in New York. The day started out with a very welcome piece of news on Tues mail: the iPad which we had tried to purchase on our first day in New York, had now arrived for us to collect! We were out at about 9 o'clock in the morning, and as the shops had not opened yet, we decided to visit the St. Patricks Cathedral on Fifth Avenue. It was nice, cool and quite on the inside - much to the contrary as to the dust, heat and noise of the outside.
After some clothes shopping and the iPad collect (yes), we went to try out the Diana Ross plyaground in Central Park. Sebastian was very pleased and went up and down the slide a thousand times. Marie-Louise seemed a bit tired in the end, and we went back to the hotel for lunch.
After a good nap, we were ready again for adventures and some more shopping. Sebastian and Marie-Louise tried out the hotdogs, but were not too impressed. As we were about to head up to a last playground visit in Central Park at about 1900h, it started to rain, and we went back to the hotel with yet another crazy-driving-yellow-cap. Well inside, the rain started to pour down heavily, and we made dinner 'at home'.
