From down South to the very top!

Our day started in Noho, in the beautiful Washington Square Park. However, somebody forgot to tell us that it is completely under construction. INCLUDING the playground! Marie-Louise was the only one who still had a smile at her face, at this stage. We soon hereafter found a cap and drove off to the next park ...

Our 'rescue' playground in the Tompkins Square Park, East Village:

After some nice playing time, we started to explore the area. Father and daugther on tour:

Houses and shops on our way through East Village and Greenwich Village.

New Yorkers on the run - and at the stand:

Finding our way through Madison Square ...

By the end of our 'little walk' Sebastian just could not take another step. He found a willing horse to help him out!

And the Flatiron building never seizes to amaze ...

After a little siesta at the hotel we went to the Rockefeller Center, planning to go up on the top. Walking the 5 blocks down to the place, Sebastian lost his courage to go up in the tall tower. Especially when we were standing at its very feet, and hardly could see top from the buttom. We assured him that everything was going to be alright, and he decided to give it a try. Needless to say, he was very pleased with himself, when we finally overlooked this craziests sights of the world.

Going for steaks at Teds Montana Grill for dinner. Although we had to run around the Rockefeller Center blocks for some time to find our way, we managed in the end. And was not dissapointed!
